Company Holiday Party in San Jose at Silver Creek Country Club

Company Holiday Party in San Jose at Silver Creek Country Club

For the second year in a row, we had the pleasure of providing DJ and MC services for a company holiday party at Silver Creek Country Club in San Jose, and once again, it delivered on every level. This venue continues to be a top choice for corporate events thanks to its ample parking, professional staff, and stunning outdoor views visible through large windows that elevate the entire atmosphere.

From the moment guests arrived, the energy was high. The Silver Creek Country Club staff was welcoming, attentive, and easy to work with, making the event flow smoothly from start to finish. As the MC for the evening, I had the opportunity to highlight each department within the company, which helped create a sense of connection and appreciation among coworkers—something that’s especially important at a holiday celebration.

Music played a huge role in keeping momentum strong throughout the night. We blended high-energy dance music with well-timed games, creating a perfect balance of interaction and fun. One key takeaway: background music during games is essential. It keeps the vibe upbeat and prevents energy dips between activities.

A major highlight of the night was hosting the “Pink Elephant” game, which turned out to be a big hit. Guests were so engaged that we nearly forgot to run it because the dance floor was packed. Once the game kicked off, it added another layer of excitement before everyone jumped right back into dancing.

It’s not always easy to get coworkers onto the dance floor, but this group came ready. They danced between games, laughed together, and kept the energy going so strong that we ended up going an hour over—always a great sign of a successful event.

If you’re planning a company holiday party in San Jose, Silver Creek Country Club is an excellent venue, and combining games, dancing, and strong MC hosting is a proven formula for an unforgettable night.

A Heartwarming Corporate Event at Hayes Mansion in San Jose

This year’s annual corporate holiday event at the historic Hayes Mansion in San Jose was another memorable celebration—and our third year hosting this gathering. After spending the previous two years at the Capitol Club, returning to a new venue brought a refreshing change of scenery. Hayes Mansion, known for its stunning architecture and spacious grounds, proved to be the perfect setting.

The property was bustling that day, with multiple events happening simultaneously. While a larger event occupied the main ballroom, our group enjoyed a more intimate setting on the opposite side of the property. Parking was plentiful, making arrivals easy and stress-free for our team.

We were assigned a comfortable mid-sized room equipped with six well-spaced tables, creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere for our under-30-guest crowd. As always, our boss—who has truly perfected the role of host—kicked off the evening with his signature monologue. Equal parts humorous and heartfelt, his opening set the tone for the night. A particularly touching moment came when he read letters submitted by staff, sharing their favorite Christmas memories and what they’re most thankful for this year. It’s a simple tradition, but one that always brings warmth and connection to the event.

The energy shifted as we dove into the always-anticipated white elephant gift exchange. Complete with drumrolls and perfectly timed Jeopardy-style sound effects, the game became a lively highlight filled with laughter and good-natured competition.

To wrap up the evening, the final hour transformed into a cozy dance party. With upbeat music playing for our small group, guests mingled, danced, and enjoyed the festive spirit.

Overall, this year’s corporate event at Hayes Mansion delivered a perfect mix of fun, tradition, and holiday cheer—an experience we’re already looking forward to repeating.

Autry Museum: A Unique Western-Style Venue for Corporate Events in Los Angeles

Autry Museum: A Unique Western-Style Venue for Corporate Events in Los Angeles

The Autry Museum of the American West is an outstanding venue choice for corporate events and private parties in Los Angeles. Located right next to the Los Angeles Zoo and only about a 10-minute drive from my home in Burbank, the museum offers both convenience and character. From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth—easy load-in, helpful staff, and plenty of space to transform the room into exactly the kind of event our client envisioned.

As a Western museum, the Autry naturally lends itself to a country or rustic theme, which made it a perfect fit for this company party. The décor, architecture, and surrounding atmosphere created an authentic Western vibe without needing much extra production. We leaned into the theme musically, playing a strong mix of ’90s country favorites that set the tone early in the night and kept guests engaged.

As the evening progressed, we mixed in some Latin tracks and old-school classics to appeal to a wider crowd. Interestingly, the Latin music brought the biggest surge of energy to the dance floor, showing just how versatile the Autry Museum can be for different musical styles and cultural influences. The flexibility of the space allowed the event to flow seamlessly from themed music to high-energy dancing.

The company also organized fun interactive activities, including a crowd-favorite game where guests attempted to lasso a bull. The game was such a hit that it ran for two full rounds, drawing laughs, cheers, and plenty of friendly competition. To top it all off, the night ended with a raffle featuring some impressive prizes, leaving guests excited and smiling.

If you’re looking for a spacious, unique, and well-located venue for a corporate event in Los Angeles, the Autry Museum delivers a memorable experience with style and flexibility.

At The Plex (a San Jose Venue) : A Night of Games, Music, and Great Memories

Several months ago, our team connected with a local high school that was preparing for its annual Homecoming celebration. During that initial conversation, the school inquired about our high school event DJ services. They asked about the age of our lead DJ, and when we shared that he was 32, they ultimately decided to go with a younger and more economical option for their event. We completely respected their decision and wished them a successful Homecoming.

Shortly after their dance, the school reached out again—this time with zero hesitation. They booked us immediately for their next celebration, and we were more than happy to welcome them with open arms. The students provided us with a detailed playlist, and we made sure to prepare a set that aligned perfectly with their vision.

When the event night arrived at The Plex, the evening started with students enjoying the wide variety of games and attractions the venue has to offer. From arcade challenges to competitive group activities, the energy was high even before the first song played. It was clear that the students were excited to make the most of every moment.

As the night progressed, the focus shifted from games to the dance floor. Once the music started and the lights came alive, the students gathered together and truly danced the night away. Their enthusiasm grew with each song, filling the venue with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

What began months ago as a simple conversation turned into a meaningful partnership. We were honored to be trusted with their event, and witnessing the students enjoy such an incredible night reminded us why we love what we do.

ROTC Event at the Scottish Rite Center in San Jose: A Fun, Family-Focused Night of Music and Dancing

This weekend I had the chance to return to the Scottish Rite Center in San Jose for the ROTC event—and honestly, it felt great to be invited back for the second year in a row. When an organization specifically asks for the same DJ, you know the connection was real. This crowd, made up of high school cadets and their families, brings an energy that makes the whole night feel like a big community celebration.

The Scottish Rite Center is a perfect venue for this kind of event. It’s spacious, welcoming, and gives everyone room to have a good time—from parents enjoying the evening to students ready to dance the second the music starts. As soon as I fired up the first tracks, you could feel the excitement build. You’ve got teens showing off their moves, families smiling and recording videos, and younger siblings jumping right into the fun.

One of the highlights of the night was definitely the line dancing. There’s something special about seeing different generations on the dancefloor doing the same steps and laughing together. And of course—we have to talk about the conga line. You simply can’t beat a solid conga moment. Once the line formed, it snaked around the room with everyone joining in, from grandparents to cadets. That’s when you know the vibe is right.

Events like this remind me why I love what I do. Music brings people together, and when a night blends family fun, school pride, and a packed dancefloor, it’s always worth the planning. I’m already looking forward to next year’s ROTC celebration at the Scottish Rite Center in San Jose.

Why Byington Vineyard Is a Dream Wedding Venue in Los Gatos — From a DJ’s Perspective

Why Byington Vineyard Is a Dream Wedding Venue in Los Gatos — From a DJ’s Perspective

As a wedding DJ, I’ve had the privilege of performing at countless venues across the Bay Area, and few compare to Byington Vineyard & Winery in Los Gatos. From both a professional and a guest experience standpoint, it’s one of the most breathtaking and well-designed venues for couples tying the knot.

First off, the setting is pure magic. Nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Byington offers panoramic views of vineyards, redwoods, and the valley below — the kind of backdrop that makes every wedding photo stunning. When I set up my booth, I can see the joy in guests’ faces as they take in the scenery. That natural beauty sets the tone for a relaxed, romantic celebration.

For couples, the layout and acoustics of the venue are ideal. The indoor barrel room delivers warm, rich sound for dinner and dancing, while the outdoor patio and lawn areas are perfect for ceremonies and cocktail hours. Power access and equipment setup are seamless, which means smoother transitions between moments — from “I do” to the first dance.

What I love most as a DJ is that Byington knows how to host a great party. The staff is professional, the timeline flows effortlessly, and the on-site coordination helps everything stay on track. When the couple is stress-free, the energy on the dance floor is unbeatable.

If you’re a bride or groom looking for a romantic Los Gatos wedding venue with world-class wine, unforgettable scenery, and a setup that makes entertainment shine, Byington Vineyard & Winery should be at the top of your list.

Overfelt High School Prom at Blanco Urban Venue – A Night to Remember in Downtown San Jose

This past weekend, we had the incredible opportunity to DJ the Overfelt High School prom at one of San Jose’s most stylish event spaces — Blanco Urban Venue. Located in the heart of downtown, Blanco offers a multi-level layout that perfectly suited the night’s festivities. From setup to the final song, everything went off smoothly, starting with quick and easy access to the parking garage for unloading.

The venue’s three levels brought unique vibes to the event. Students enjoyed a delicious meal upstairs in the elegant dining area, while the dance floor downstairs kept the energy high all night long. We brought the heat with a mix of Latin hits, hip hop, and a touch of pop — exactly what Overfelt's crowd wanted. One of the night's highlights was announcing the prom court, adding that special touch to an already unforgettable evening.

Blanco’s Great Room provided ample space for dancing under chic chandeliers, while the Rooftop Terrace offered perfect spots for sunset selfies and chill-out moments. This venue’s built-in style, full kitchen, and modern amenities made it an ideal setting for prom night.
