At The Plex (a San Jose Venue) : A Night of Games, Music, and Great Memories

Several months ago, our team connected with a local high school that was preparing for its annual Homecoming celebration. During that initial conversation, the school inquired about our high school event DJ services. They asked about the age of our lead DJ, and when we shared that he was 32, they ultimately decided to go with a younger and more economical option for their event. We completely respected their decision and wished them a successful Homecoming.

Shortly after their dance, the school reached out again—this time with zero hesitation. They booked us immediately for their next celebration, and we were more than happy to welcome them with open arms. The students provided us with a detailed playlist, and we made sure to prepare a set that aligned perfectly with their vision.

When the event night arrived at The Plex, the evening started with students enjoying the wide variety of games and attractions the venue has to offer. From arcade challenges to competitive group activities, the energy was high even before the first song played. It was clear that the students were excited to make the most of every moment.

As the night progressed, the focus shifted from games to the dance floor. Once the music started and the lights came alive, the students gathered together and truly danced the night away. Their enthusiasm grew with each song, filling the venue with excitement, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

What began months ago as a simple conversation turned into a meaningful partnership. We were honored to be trusted with their event, and witnessing the students enjoy such an incredible night reminded us why we love what we do.

Saratoga Mountain Winery is a Good Prom Venue (Bay Area Dj serving San Jose, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Livermore, Pleasanton, Milpitas, Los Gatos, Gilroy and Morgan Hill)

We had the honor to do Westmont’s prom for the second year in the row. I love how the school picks a different venue every year. They went with the Saratoga Mountain Winery. The winery is located in the very photogenic Santa Cruz Mountains which is a fabulous backdrop for prom pics. There is plenty of space outside for prom folks to dance under the stars and bask in the fresh air plus be in beautiful surroundings. Just the ambiance of the location will make it a memorable prom night. We are all about having a plan B in Black and White Affair so at Saratoga Mountain Winery they have indoor facilities incase there is a weather hiccup.  When a school does rent out the winery then it gives it the VIP feel since students are the only ones who can enjoy the night there. The beauty of this location is that it is easy to get to from south bay schools.

So if you do want a nice outside venue then Saratoga Mountain Winery is a must. Westmost again gave us a great playlist to work with. Students dressed super nice and were polite. Party was  at 6 so we had to come in early to set up. We got there early to accommodate the venue then we were able to go back home to change and get back.

Overall it was a fun night at a nice venue. Definitely a memorable prom night at Saratoga Mountain Winery.
