Bay Area Grad Parties: Celebrating Success with Music, Dancing & Fun

We recently had the pleasure of DJing two unforgettable graduation parties in the Bay Area — one in Sunnyvale and the other in San Martin. Both events brought unique vibes, incredible energy, and tons of dancing, making them a joy to be part of.

Sunnyvale Graduation Party

The Sunnyvale grad party was all about celebrating a proud college graduate surrounded by friends and family. The atmosphere was upbeat from the moment we arrived. With a playlist packed full of high-energy Spanish music, the dance floor quickly became the center of attention. Everyone was ready to celebrate, and the crowd’s energy made it clear they came to party! The music, laughter, and good vibes flowed all night, creating an unforgettable night for the graduate and guests alike.

San Martin Graduation Party

The San Martin grad party was another incredible event — and one of our favorite families to work with! We’ve done multiple events for them, and each one just keeps getting better. Set on a spacious property with plenty of room to dance and celebrate, this party had a great mix of Spanish and English music. But once the sun went down, the real party began. Spanish music lit up the night and got everyone on their feet. The dance floor came alive, and the celebration continued late into the evening.

Whether it's Sunnyvale, San Martin, or anywhere in the Bay Area, we love bringing the soundtrack to your special moments. If you're planning a graduation party, wedding, or any celebration, let’s make it unforgettable together!

Real Weddings in San Martin (Bay Area DJ Serving San Jose. Gilroy, Morgan Hill, San Martin, Fremont, and Pleasanton)

Sometimes you may think why not have a grand event in your back yard. I have to say most backyards may not be as fancy but if you live in the south county area some folks have more real estate to have a grand event. A few months ago I did a fun quincenera in San Martin. The house had plenty of acres and a nice paver area for the dance floor. Last week, I returned to the house and they now had overhangs to provide needed shade and lights. It gave it a really nice look. The place could consider maybe having more events since its so spacious and there is plenty of parking but that is besides the point.

We had the ceremony as the groom’s dad was the officiant. Five minutes before the ceremony we played the military wake up call to get everyone in their seats. Ceremony was a nice one then it went straight to the cocktail time. There was no grand entrance since bride and groom didn’t leave the area to take pictures and were able to partake in the cocktail hour.

We did the first dance to pantera and there were many parent dances. Then the rest of the night we had open dancing. There were some guest performances with folklorico dancing and grandma and niece had a duet. Then we had a surprise jam session with the groom on his electrical guitar. Truly a very talented family. No two weddings are ever the same.

Quinceanera San  Martin (Bay Area Dj serving San Jose, Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Livermore, Fremont, Milpitas, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara and Pleasanton)

I got a call to do a Quince about a month before the event. A quince takes time to prepare since there is a lot to ponder. What events do we want to do in the quince? How traditional do we want it to be?

We were fortunate enough to have it at a spacious San Martin Home. We could be as loud or quite as we like and have as much light as we could since we had a lot of room to work with.

We always need a grand entrance and the birthday girl came out with Turn Down For What. Right after that they went straight to the Baile Sopresa. Then we did a little dancing then we went into dinner. When dinner was announced the parents did a thank you speech for the guests.

Then it was time to do some quince events. There was the shoe exchange which was sneakers into cowboy boots which was done with the dad and the quince. Then the crowning was done by the mom and the birthday girl. And finally the sisters presented the doll which was wearing the same type of dress as the quince.

After that then we did the 15 Candle presentation where 15 people who are significant were called up one by one to be with the birthday girl.

Then they had open mic speeches then we went straight to cake with the mananitas.

After that it was party time with a mix of cumbias, pop, and west coast old school hip hop.
