Schools should hire reputable DJs for their events for several reasons:

1.         Professionalism: Established DJs bring a high level of professionalism to school events. They are experienced in managing large groups of students and can handle the technical aspects of sound and lighting, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Djs should be used to students coming in asking for requests and being prepared by having the latest jams.

2.         Experience with School Events: DJs who specialize in school events understand the unique dynamics and needs of a school environment. They know how to engage students, keep the atmosphere positive, and navigate any challenges that may come up. They know they have to keep the party going but at the same time not to upset the vice principal!

3.         Safety and Appropriateness: Experienced DJs are well-versed in selecting age-appropriate music and content. They ensure that the playlist aligns with the school's values and guidelines, creating a fun yet respectful environment for students. Some songs maybe labeled clean but the content may not be so they know not to play that.

4.         Customization and Flexibility: Established DJs are used to customizing their performance to suit specific themes and preferences. They work closely with school organizers to tailor the music and entertainment to fit the event’s purpose, whether it's a dance, pep rally, or graduation ceremony.

5.         Reliable Equipment and Setup: Professional DJs come equipped with high-quality sound and lighting systems, which are essential for creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. They are prepared with back up gear just in case.  They also handle the setup and teardown efficiently, minimizing disruptions and ensuring that everything works correctly during the event.

Los Gatos High School, Class of 2023, just knew how to do it right. Even while I was growing up, Los Gatos was known as an elite school in sports and now we know know that they know how to throw a party.  They were excellent with communication to make sure they got their party right.  We were in constant contact from two students from the ASB team that kept us in the loop.  Ending the year of right with an epic prom night at no other place , but the BNY Mellon Club located at the 50 yard line behind the 49ers sideline at the field level, that making it the most premium space at Levi’s stadium! We loved the fact that we were playing on sacred ground and playing where the  49ers run wild.  As soon as the doors opened, music starts playing. Every song back to back seemed liked a hit the way everybody reacted and sang along to hits like We Found Love by Rihanna, Fireball by Pitbull, Love Story by Taylor Swift, Losing it by Fisher, Feel so Close by Calvin Harris, Bel Merci by Jengi, Hey Baby by Pitbull. And the list was endless for such an epic night with endless dancing and very great taste in music. Lghs 23’ you were amazing! The energy on the dance floor could not be matched and it will always be remembered. Also the fact that they were celebrating in the presence of greatness of a football team just made it a little bit magical.
