Tujunga Grad Party: A Night to Remember Full of Latin Music and Celebration

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of DJing an unforgettable graduation party in Tujunga, and it was a night packed with energy, great music, and amazing performances. The family called me way in advance to lock in the date, and I knew right away it was going to be a special event.

The party took place in a spacious hall that held around 150 guests. The vibe was lively from the start, with a strong Latin music influence that carried through the entire evening. I kicked things off with my DJ set, spinning a mix of upbeat Latin and Top 40 tracks for the first 45 minutes to warm up the crowd.

After that, a talented mariachi band took the stage for a full two hours. I filled in during their breaks to keep the momentum going. The energy was nonstop, and everyone stayed on their feet dancing and singing along.

Once the mariachi wrapped up, I switched gears and played party music for another hour—everything from reggaeton to cumbias. The night only got better with a surprise appearance by a Selena impersonator, who had the whole room singing along to “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.”

I followed up with another hour-long set before the grand finale: a Juan Gabriel tribute performer who absolutely stole the show. He went long, pouring his heart into every song, which left me with just 8 minutes to close the night. I made those 8 minutes count!

The Tujunga grad party was a night filled with culture, celebration, and unforgettable music. If you're planning a graduation party or special event, let’s talk early and make it just as memorable!
