Summer Wedding in Palo Alto: (Bay Area dj serving San Jose, Sunnyvale and Morgan Hill)

This summer, I had the pleasure of DJing a beautiful wedding in Palo Alto. The couple’s planner reached out to me ahead of time, and we collaborated closely to create a perfect flow for the evening. I sent over my music planner, and we finalized the key songs for each special moment of the night. We made sure we implemented a lot of events and we have to fit it in a four hour time frame.

Cocktail hour kicked off with a smooth, live saxophone performance that set a classy tone. At 6 PM, guests entered the ballroom, and we jumped right into the grand entrance for the wedding party and bridal couple—set to Celebration by Kool and the Gang. Immediately after, the couple shared their first dance  by Babyface, marking the start of a tightly timed but beautifully executed evening.

The planner was both coordinator and guest, so I made sure to check in frequently while also coordinating with the photo and video teams. At times, I had to locate them myself to keep everything moving. After a heartfelt blessing from the parents, dinner was served, followed by touching speeches and a large group photo.

Next came the parent dances, bouquet and garter toss, and the ever-popular money dance—which really turned up the energy. The dance floor came alive with a throwback to the Backstreet Boys, quickly followed by a guest-requested 2000s hip-hop hit Pop, Lock and Drop it. Then we threw in songs just like it. It was definitely  party time!

We wrapped up the night with a couples' dance and then opened up the floor for everyone. From start to finish, this Palo Alto summer wedding was packed with love, laughter, and non-stop music.
